Antique Elf Christmas Ornament Gorgeous Hand Painted Composition Felt Figure 4\" Fabulous made elf he is very old. The face is either a painted bisque or compo I am leaning more toward compo however its very hard for me to tell when its painted like that as there is no inner material or chips so I can see the material inside to tell the difference the body is felted on wires as shown. He is very displayable and his face is hand painted he is in nice shape for his age and the fragile material. No major cracks or chips to the face minor little imperfection marks/dings/ few minor hairlines paint is a nice full only minor loss. One of his arms is floppy the other is not. Few minor small tiny holes in the felt and minor small pop stitch separation areas its minor. Cord on the shoes minor edge fray and unravel. He has some soil and age as shown. Minor wear to the felt. Minor tarnish to the buckles. Minor wear to the cord to hang may of been re-knotted minor fray to it. Minor wear to his hair and his pom has some wear/age color. He is a very displayable item and a rare find. Really nice displayable piece
