This charming lot features two exquisite antique Dresden ceramic candlestick holders. One depicts a romantic couple with a loyal dog, and the other showcases playful children climbing a flower-adorned column. Both pieces are intricately detailed with vibrant colors and gilded accents, highlighting the craftsmanship of these vintage items. These unique pieces were bought at an estate sale, and although they are unmarked, they appear to be very old and extremely intricate. There is masking tape on one of the bases that reads: "Dresden, GER (Thoringen) c. 1800's $150. pr. Value 1976 (not matched pr.)". This tape appears to have been there for a very long time, adding to the character of these candlesticks.
