Anton Reiche Antique Chocolate Metal Mold - Rare Vintage Candy Mold ca. 1920\'s is of a boy dressed as a clown and holding a heart in his hand, very fine detailing only found in Anton Reiche molds. A perfect set marked with #23 which indicates that the front and back are a matched set with the catalog #7530. As seen in an Anton Reiche Schokoladenform Catalog pg. 3 of Double Molds, which is shown in the Collector\'s Guide to Antique Chocolate Molds. Stamped and tinned this lovely old vintage chocolate mould shows the patina of age, but still holds true the wonderful detailing found in Anton Reich molds. Measures approx. 7\" x 3 1/2\". By the clown\'s hand in the ruffle of the sleeve there is a very thin rust line that goes through.Lovely chocolate mold to begin a collection, add to your current collection or use for crafting such as chalkware, beeswax, etc. Photo of chalkware figurines are shown for sample purpose only and is not for sale.During WWII, many chocolate factories were either forced to shut down or were bombed leaving very little standing.
