Condition: Nice, rare, pre-owned Conquistador with MOHAWK. This piece has at some time been painted black, now has some paint loss and chipping throughout, the base is slightly bent so entire statue can rock forward or backward. It is unsigned, Still has sword and shield attached. The shield is round and has a snake on exterior. I am unable to find exactly what fighters used the snake on their sword in fighting. It is a heavy piece of unknown spelter metal. I do not see any new, replaced or foreign parts. The MOHAWK hair is the unusual and most of all--RARE part. The underside of base has no makers mark, signature. Measures approximate: 12\" tall x 6\" wide. Wonderful old piece and a great addition for the true collector of medieval military pieces!
