Beautiful biblical type scene.. made in Italy limited edition..1632/18 … ( Number on bottom of tankard$ not sure if this means only 18 were made out of 1632..( It’s from a painting by Guido Reni from around the 1600’s. It’s called Aurora. As she is bringing in the dawn. She and her ladies are accompanying Apollo God of the Sun to bring in the day! I’m not sure of the date)., this piece also may be from the baroque period. (Please if I am incorrect please contact me) //

Although this Capodimonte has small blemishes (there is a small chip on top and on bottom) see pics for flaws —**they hold there value well** even with small flaws ** because these pieces are highly sought after**..(prices for these are sometimes way over a thousand dollars plus) also see makers Mark at the bottom.
