Antique Alfred Andresen & Co, Heart Shapes, Cast Iron Waffle Maker #999 For Sale

Antique Cast Iron Waffle Maker by Alfred Andresen & Co, Minnesota. A rare find for the Antique Cast Iron enthusiast! He was an entrepreneur who sold household items and cooking utensils appealing to the regional Scandinavian immigrant population. He was not the actual manufacturer, as he jobbed out the casting of his patented heart-shaped waffle irons to foundries including Griswold. In 1913, the company became Western Importing Co. This waffle maker is clearly marked Alfred Andresen & Co. There are several different markings, possibly cast numbers, #999, #981, #975 & #8. I did not want to restore as I wasn\'t sure if it would take away from the value, but can be refurbished. On the wooden handles, I noticed on has a small crack, I imagine they\'re the original handles. I did not see any cracks in the cast iron pieces at all. I will package it securely for shipping to prevent any damage.
