Antique African PRIMITIVE Hand Carved Wood Bowl Writing & Metal Repair Folk Art #10. Interesting piece, it has some sort of message written across it and an early metal repair. Message appears to read something close to Yano Kaki Segei. There appears to be a fainter second message also carved but I cannot decipher it. I am not sure what region this piece came out of or the exact age, it’s definitely old, just not sure of a specific date. This piece measures roughly 10.25 inches tall by 5 inches wide. Piece has some wear as you can see from the photos, including some surface loss around the rim as you can see from the photos. Interesting piece!
