This is an amazing photo album featuring 265 photographs, apparentlytaken in several cities inPennsylvania. Some have writing on them to indicate places/years. The dates I've seen are 1913-18. Some of the cities include: Pottsville, Valley Forge, Harrisburg, Gettysburg, Lenape Park. Some locations: Tumbling Run, Everhart Fountain, Everhart Park, Court of Honor, "Scene on the Brandywine", Army camp, Mt. Grutna, Ephrata Cloister, state buildings at Harrisburg, There are buildingsthat look like universities or colleges, waterfalls, landscapes, many car/automobile photos, military (navy band parade of some kind, army), boats, ocean, aerial view of unknown cities, damaged house(s), college graduates, horses, houses, Niagara Falls ?,cemeteries, and many unidentified locations. There is also some ephemera that was found tucked in the album (letters, a funeral program for Rev. JohnHouse Eastman of Pottsville, 1917, etc.) There are blank pages towards the back of the album. The album itself measures 14" x 10.5".
Many of the photos are loose. Four are pictures that are not originals (removed from a book or magazine?). The album has many loose pages. One page of photos doesn't appear to be a part of the album but was found tucked in the album.
