This is a stunning example of a Seth Thomas Adamantine model clock dating to January of 1893. This clock features a beautiful, all original “butterscotch” Adamantine patterned finish, all original ornamentation finishes, and even the original hands. The glass has been replaced in the bezel and a new custom made dial was also installed. The bezel closes tightly around the dial pan and shows a nearly perfect original brass finish. The gold leaf filled designs on either side of the dial retain their original gold leaf paint and the finish on the entire clock shows glossy and almost perfect. An impressive feat for a clock that is over 125 years old! The case has been completely restored using the Kenosha Clocks Adamantine Restoration Process and looks as it did when it first left the factory in 1893. The entire case was completely disassembled and painstakingly restored piece by piece.
The fantastic 3 5/8” brass ST movement has been completely overhauled. It was fully disassembled, cleaned, polished, new bushings installed, reassembled, oiled, and tested for many weeks to ensure perfect functioning. It strikes the half hour and the hour on a deep, resonant cathedral gong.
The key and pendulum are both accurate replacements of the originals. Don’t miss the opportunity to own this rare timepiece in such amazing condition! If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
