This piece carries the hallmark of Porzellanfabrik Unger, Schneider, & Cie. The impressed and uncrowned 'G' mark without the 'DEP' found on the back of this bisque figurine indicates that it was produced during 1875 and 1879.
The bisque figurine is about 12" high and has a base that is 3-1/8" by 3-3/8" It was hand painted and the colors seem to be unaffected by age. The porcelain casting is free of cracks, chips, or repairs.
