Acid Etched Grecian Aesthetic Movement Victorian Sandwich Glass Hanging Oil Lamp For Sale

Amazing piece of acid and or copperwheel etched glass from the 1880s. Depicts a Greek or Roman scene. From the Victorian Aesthetic Movement era, most likely sandwich glass. Has a pull down pulley system with a peg font oil lamp. The pulley is marked with a pat date from 1880s and The oil lamp has an 1870s pat date. It was electrified and put back to near original condition. Even the chimney is of the same era. The fitters have some rough spots, with a couple small chips on the top fitter. Very much expected for Its age. If you don\'t believe it, full return accepted. One rivet holding the chain was replaced with a small bolt. Some tarnish an discoloration. Old genuine antique, don\'t bother offerding if your expecting this to be untouched by age.
