The buckle looks to be an early plastic called Catlin ( not Catlinite)...or possibly a late bakelite. It has some designs that appear to be molded. Great looking and unique. The beadwork is loom style placed on what looks to be an early naugehyde belt. Nice early beaded item that looks to be Minniconjou Sioux in origin.
