ANTIQUE RAILROAD CROSSING SIGN RR CAST IRON WITH CATS EYES REFLECTORS 24\" 1920s For Sale

Antique 1920\'s era cast iron railroad sign with cataphote reflectors better know as \"cats eyes\".  Measures 24 inches in diameter.  As you can see some of the paint is missing and flaking off.  May have been shot at?? I see a couple small round dent marks but nothing has gone completely through except for the two holes used to mount the sign.  Both R\'s and the cross symbol in the center are embossed. All 14 of the cats eyes reflectors are intact.  The sign does have a very slight bend to it. I am not sure if it was made that way due to the piece of wood on the back of the sign so it could be mounted level or if someone actually bent it?? This would have taken some serious strength to do so though.  Very heavy sign, weighing over 12 pounds.  Overall condition I think is great considering the era its from.  Ultimately you are the judge so look over the pictures very carefully and decide for yourself.  If you need more pictures just ask.  Also, email questions if any prior to offerding/purchase.
