Antique LARGE Qing Signed KANGXI Blue & White PORCELAIN Ginger Jar circa 1700 For Sale

Guaranteed to be original and as described -- Antique Chinese Qing Dynasty signed Kangxi within a double blue ring porcelain ginger jar with lid. The jar is circa 1700 and is Kangxi period. The blue and white decoration is superb and this is a RARE large size jar. The jar is decorated with prunus flowers on a blue background. Each cartouche has furniture,vases and other motifs. The jar has the characteristic very vitreous glaze of a period piece. The lid is original and the total weight of the jar with lid is 7 pounds 3 ounces..SIZE: 11 1/4 inches high by 8 1/2 inches wide at the shoulder...CONDITION: The conditionis very good there are no repairs. There are four nicks on the top of the lid and a tiny glaze pop and a very tiny glaze pop on the lip/rim of the jar itself... which is most likely done in the making. On the side shown in photo eleven there is a old flaw that measures about one inch long, this was done in the making. A good amount that I have seen in reference that have sold at major sales have had some kind of defect.
