Up for sale is an EARLY/ANTIQUE, fantastic handwritten English land indenture from March 1820 on parchment. There are no seals.
The document reads, \"In Chancery\" on the back and \"Vice Chancellor\" at the top of the front page.Includes 1 document measuring approximately 13 x 16 1/2. It has 4 pages and is tied with ribbon in the upper left hand corner. This indenture is written in old English. It is mostly legible writing with some aging, and a few damp stains.
It is generally Good condition with some fading and smearing to the ink. Some staining, foxing and wear and grime that has accumulated over the years. There are several creases from folding and there are a few small holes in the document, as well. Nicks and chips along the edges.
There are a couple signatures on the back of the document. Deeds are not my typical area of expertise, so please ask any questions and see photos for the detail of the signatures.
This is a fabulous piece of British history and would be a great addition for any collection!
