Up for sale is this wonderful estate fresh circa 1900 sepia studio photograph. The image measures 3 7/8\" by 2 7/8\" and is mounted on photographer\'s mat that measures 5 5/8\" by 4 5/8\". The photo is very clear and depicts an African American women standing in a doorway with an early splint basket sitting on the ground next to her. The photograph is identified on the reverse as Mrs. William James Thompson. The photo in nice condition there is some light wear. The photo is fresh from a New England attic and I have not tried to clean the image in any way. This is a great early photograph and would make an excellent addition to any collection.Please ask any questions you may have before you offer - I want you to be completely happy with the item you receive!
