Lot of nine plates. Eight plates are approximately 4”, one is approximately 3.75”.
all made in Italy marked on the bottom
Includes an original box which has NO lid. I think seven came in this box.
All are transfer ware. Eight are decorated with gilded borders/edges.
Gold is shiny. There is wear consistent with age.
No cracks or hairlines
Along the edges and on the bottoms there are some raised, rough spots. They might be flea bites. Some look glazed over indicating that they may have occurred during the making of these pieces. I am not certain.
