The origin story of Dick Cole's sidekick, fellow cadet Simba Karno, involves the villains Master Mongol and Dr. Karno. Teen inventor Edison Bell and his friends learn more about being "junior air raid wardens" for the benefit of young readers during WWII. The text story " Trouble...Come and Get It! " is an early story by hardboiled detective author Mickey Spillane, back when he was writing comics. Edison Bell shows young readers how to make junior air warden equipment.
