4 ART NOUVEAU PLATES BY MUCHA , WOMEN OF 4 SEASONS, HUTSCHENREUTHER PORCELAIN For Sale

Hutschenreuther Porcelain Company made a set of four beautiful Alphonse Mucha \"Women of the Four Seasons\" (Femmes de Quatres Saisons) Art Nouveau collectors plates in 1985 for the Hamilton Collection. Each vibrantly colored porcelain plate was limited to a production run of 7,500 worldwide. Here is an entire set of four, NIB, each one numbered, and each with a certificate of authenticity. They are in their original boxes with the original packing material, although some of the boxes have small tears and one has a scratch. The plates are mint, 8 1/2\" in diameter with 24 ct gold edges. On the reverse of each plate is the production number and information about the series. These plates have low production numbers, which are the most desirable. The plates are:

• Woman of Spring (femme de printemps), first in the series. Number 145.
• Woman of Summer (femme de Ete), second in the series. Number 456.
• Woman of Autumn  (femme d\' Automene), third in the series. Number 66.
• Woman of Winter (femme d\' hiver), the fourth and final plate. Number 391. 

Heutschenreuther began making beautiful porcelain items in Germany in 1814. Czech artist Alphonse Mucha (1860-1939) was one of the premier artists of the Art Nouveau movement.
