23 Antique playing cards which are most unusual and some are damaged.. so there are about 18 in actual collectable condition. The others have old worm holes in them and this has made them so weak they have come adrift.
They include.... 5 PICTURE cards.. these are like our Kings Queens Jacks ...but they have painted dots as well on them so it cannot be an English way of playing cards.. they also have been signed - wording...... next to the picture... 1 of the picture cards is in much worse condition than the other 4, but they have slight worm holes too....only 1 has survived with no worm holes at all. It is the one with a figure signed at the right hand side and its got 4 red dots and 3 black dots. 
Then there are 4 cards which have a circle in the middle and a Dragon at each end... these have red and black dots too as well as crosses...a couple of these have worm holes.
Then there 14 normal cards.. well I use the word normal loosely.... they have red and black dots and only 5 have survived with no worm holes... 3 are pretty bad and 1 is creased and the paper coming apart.
They all are this thin round ended \"sponge finger\" shaped and have a blue design on the back of them all.
They are 3 and a quarter inch long x 1 inch wide....delicate but well collected from what I can see on google.....Single cards can sell for a substantial amount.
I will NOT be splitting these up.

Another item from a very large English country house estate attic / cellar sale... this item was one of a number of interesting curio\'s collectables and other mysterious items that had been collected over a long period of time. Typical of the country Lady and Gentleman whilst on their Grand Tours around the world. Some items were lablelled and others not.

• I post every business day (Monday to Friday).  If you buy something and pay for it Friday noon or Saturday please be aware it will be posted to you on Monday as I am usually at a live sales veiwing & buying on Saturdays. Once an item is the in the postal system any delays are out of my control, see the postage label to see the date it was sent.

• I accept returns within 14 days of you getting the item. Not 30 days. All items sent back to me in the condition you received it in.  If you are in any way unhappy with your item please message me to arrange a return.  Item(s) to be returned in its original packaging please.  Please note if you or a third party tamper with, changes or repairs an item, this would automatically NULL AND VOID my full return policy, i.e. returns will not be accepted. 

 

• If you return the item because you\'ve changed your mind, and  there is no error in the description, return postage will not be refunded.

 

• UK BUYERS I accept CHEQUES in UK Sterling, PAYPAL or Cheque payments will incurr a DELAY in despatch, of 6 working days to clear. 

 

• INTERNATIONAL BUYERS I will accept Paypal payments.
