Maker - Developed by Josiah Wedgwood in the 1770s, Jasper-Ware has a matte base layer with raised, usually white, decorations. The base layer is often light blue, but it can also be green, black, dark blue, yellow, cream and other shades.
Description - This Renaissance/Neoclassical designed Wedgwood Beaker has the Portland or dark blue base with raised white figures motif. Surrounding the beaker is a motif of Neoclassical figures of woman, children, trees and flowers. The beaker is stamped "Wedgwood - Made in England" a mark used from 1908-1969; and the number "3 1/2" and "U".
Dimensions - The beaker measures 3 1/8" in height, 3 1/4" across the top and 2 1/2" across the base.
Condition - There are no cracks, chips or repairs; near mint.
