19th Century Antique Primitive French woven Winnowing Basket For Sale

Lovely antique fan shaped French winnowing basket used to separate wheat from chaff after harvest in the 19th century. This large woven basket has a warm patina of age as it was made between 1830 - 1850. It is a wonderful decorative accessory that can be hung on a wall or used as a display. It is in excellent condition, given its age and use. Dimensions are 37 inches wide from handle to handle, and 29 inches from top to bottom. The backside measures 10 inches tall. This is a rare and special find for the discerning collector.
