19th CENTURY STAMPED “AUSTRIA” FRENCH GUILT BRONZE Decorative PLATEAU with inset FLORAL PETIT POINT

Intricate decorative balustrade edge featuring cast anthemion, shield shaped crests and scrolling arabesques, serving as a frame to a delicate oval multi style stitched scene depicting a colorful petit point floral bouquet. Mounted upon a pedestal tray and (4) raised ball and claw leg. Finely cast gold plated bronze. Removable underside is covered in maroon worn velvet held in place with brass nails. May have had glass at one time covering needlepoint. STAMPED “AUSTRIA”. All VINTAGE. Bent balustrade top edge . Base unaffected, legs standing firm without wobble. 11”L x 8.25”W x 3.75”H. See Photos.
