19th C. Large Hand Carved Wooden Statue Spanish Colonial Figure Wormy Chestnut ?
A great hand carved wood figurine statue of a majestic figure of man. Appears to be possibly a representation of a Spanish Colonial explorer. Measures 17 inch height. Width is 5.25 inches across front. Depth is 3.5 inches. Great color and detail. I believe the wood is wormy chestnut. Not sure of age or origin. The statue is not signed. A great, mellow patina.
