Trek 2100 ZX Carbon Series road bike. This model has bare black carbon tubes with epoxy bonded aluminum joints and forks that are deep blue in color. I believe it\'s from 1996. Serial number 1876614. Very light usage. Very clean where you would expect lots of damage from the tires flinging road grit at the frame. See pics. Seat tube measures 24 3/8 to the center from the crank, which makes it a 62cm. New tires and tubes with only 46 miles on them. Shifters have been removed, cleaned and re-lubed. Ready for a long tour, right now, with no excuses. Also includes the bottle cages, as pictured.

I can\'t describe how it rides because it\'s way to tall for me. I got it from a coworker who knew I did some cycling. Thought I would keep it around for relatives or friends to ride, but that\'s only happened once.
If you are around 6\'2\" to 6\"3\" or so, and your inseam is about 34\", give or take an inch, it should fit you perfectly.
Shifters were sticky, so I took them off, cleaned and re-lubed them as noted above. I did NOT just squirt some WD-40 in there and hope for the best. I took them apart to expose the mechanism, cleaned all the old grease off with parts cleaner and then re-lubricated them. The only cosmetic issues I can see are a very small scuff on the down bar going to the rear wheel, and the usual issues where the chain guard is. See pics.
I believe all you need to do is lube the chain and do the final tweaking of the shifting adjustments. I adjusted it very close, and it\'s totally ready to ride, but I didn\'t take the extra time to make it PERFECT. I would probably replace the computer as well. It might work, but the buttons are old and kind of sticky to the touch.
Examine the pictures carefully and please ask questions. Will be sold as-is, no returns on this one.
The bike has been securely packed in a Trek bike box. Wheels, handlebar, rear derailleur and seat have all been removed for shipping. Be prepared to re-assemble when you receive it. Ready to ship out as soon as you fully execute the transaction. Available for local pickup as well, but it has already been boxed, so you\'ll need to re-assemble it.
