For sale is a Raleigh Chopper 1973 made, the rear Sturmey Archer hub is marked 73 2.
The bike is almost complete.
The paint is good for a 44 years old bike with nice decals.
The front brake caliper and lever are replacement Weinmann. The rear caliper is a Raleigh model.
If the calipers are the same with the ones used in Raleigh Sports, I can include a pair in excellent condition.
The plastic cover for the shifter is broken, but the shifter is on working condition like the hub too.
The rear tire is original Raleigh script, I don\'t know about the front. Both tires are keeping air, but have cracks.
The seat is in very good condition, except a small rip as seen in the picture.
Rust problems:
* the chrome on bars is pitted, should be rechromed.
* the front wheel is pretty rusty.
* the rest of the chromed parts should clean nice.
Other problems: looks like the left arm of the crank set is a little bent.
The hubs should be serviced. The bike speed system looks to work fine.
