purchased from the family of Michael R. Pender (the Deputy to the Vice President of the New York World\'s Fair Corporation and the Director of all State and Federal Pavilions at the 1964-65 New York World\'s Fair)

Pender was one of several Corporation officials who traveled across the country before the Fair began to promote the 1964-65 New York World\'s Fair

the miniature concept planning model is of the Hall of Education

this model was used as a part of the New York World\'s Fair Corporation\'s traveling models to demonstrate and show what the entire Fairgrounds would look like on opening day

the base of the model measures approximately 4.5 inches x 3.5 inches
a very historic item and in good condition for its age
