1956 Pontiac Star Chief Lighted Hood Ornament, Jet Airplane Design This is an original vintage hood ornament. From researching online, I believe it’s a ‘56 Pontiac Star Chief, but let me know if that is wrong. The metal is in nice shape with good chrome and no true damage. The plexi section has crazing and some little dings along the front edge, but it’s still complete and there are no surface cracks that I spot. The majority of the little dings are at the 5 tips along the front edge between the nacelles.
