I will be posting other militaria items over time.My late father, John Nagy, was a 2nd Lt. Pilot in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He used this STUDENT PILOT HANDBOOK in 1943 and made some notes in it as shown in the pictures.This fantastic RARE historic paperback book was written by Jack Hunt and Ray Fahringer (illustrations) with Foreward by Corey Ford and Alastair Macbain as \"A Practical Text For The Primary Student\" and published by Books, Inc. in New York & Boston. Fourth Printing November 1943Based on my father\'s notes in the book about his flight experiences, I\'m guessing this might be a First or Second Printing. Could not find anything in the book to determine which exactly.\"The typographical size and format of this book are in accordance with the paper conservation orders of the War Production Board. Printed in the United States of America.\"Someone must have thought soldiers needed a little humor preparing for war as the illustrations are all cartoons and some are quite comical. There are no pages missing and the book is in pretty good condition considering its age. It has been in storage in a foot locker for more than 60 years.Thanks for looking!
