1940's NATIONAL AIRLINES Personal Representative Badge 1st Issue For Sale

Offered is an original and, quite rare 1934-1940's National Airlines Personal Representative Badge 1st Issue (This IS NOT a flight attendant/stewardess wing. This wing is silver, the flight attendant wing is gold). This badge was worn by those who greeted VIP's, unaccompanied minors, etc. There would be one of these reps working at the smaller stations and two working at the larger stations. The wing is silver plated brass (again, making it a silver color) with enameled detailing. There are no maker's marks, etc. on the back. It measures 2-1/8" in diameter. It is complete with a horizontal pin with a fully functioning come-under swivel catch. This is a very nice example of a rarely seen badge and it shows only very minor evidence of wear as observed in the photos.
