1940 - Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Model 128 SN: AF432718 -STILL LOOKS NEW-:
$200.00

About this piece:When I found this piece in a dilapidated old shed that was being removed, it was partially crushed from toolboxes stacked on top of it. The original lid was irreparably smashed, however 2 parts of it held strong and kept the machine itself safe.Positive:-If you are looking for something that really does not show any aging on the machine itself, then look no further.-The gold print still looks new.
- All defining features like SN, medal, dial numbers are completely in tact and legible. Even the production sticker on the motor is completely adhered with no peeling. Negative:-No original box cover.
-The A/C power cord was cut *There was a wire in the box, however I do not feel as though it is the original. will include either way in case I am wrong*.
-There is a smudge that shows up under certain light. I did gently wipe it with a cloth and warm water. I have not tried to use anything stronger or tried to scrub as I am inexperienced with restoration an do not want to do anything that leads to damage. Why would I include these negatives if I am trying to sell it?First and foremost, the negatives although many are completely outweighed by how visually stunning this piece from the 1940s looks. The pictures really do it zero justice. *I'm a terrible photographer*. Secondly, I understand that this is a really niche piece, and I feel most interested parties would be buying it for collection purposes. In this type of situation, I genuinely believe clarity is the best approach. I want you to know exactly what you are getting with this purchase.
