Original c1930s Standard Oil Co. oil advertising bookends for RPM Motor Oil. I call them bookends but believe they are oil cabinet shelf headers for various grades of oil at a Standard gas station. Made of a sturdy steel and theyhave a 2\" tab at bottom which would workfor using as two bookends or make a great display. These measure about 6 1/2\" X 5 1/2\". Theyare NOS brand new,saved from an old oil company distributor supply when they became obsolete. Well stored over the years and are in great new condition. Rareold advertising and great color with only a couple tiny nicks and two scratches on one from storage. It looks to be a permanant lithographed decal applied and both have great unfaded color and no lift or cracking issues at all.
A nice addition to any collection or decore. No disappointments.
