1880s BEAUTIFUL HOBBS NO.341 CRANBERRY OPALESCENT SNOWFLAKE STAND LAMP COMPLETE For Sale

This is a real pretty cranberry opalescent snowflake Hobbs kerosene stand lamp made in the 1880s by Hobbs Brockunier & Co....It is referred to by collectors as Hobss No.341. It has a beautiful cranberry glass square font with ribs around underside and shoulder.....bold white opalescent snowflakes inside the glass .....Clear glass base with scalloped foot that has corrugated bottom...scarce glass ribbed collar with brass threaded sleeve where the font screws into tight......8\"tall up to the brass collar on top of font....16 3/4\"tall with burner & chimney.....Shiny nice but has a hard to see 3/4\"crack on top of shoulder; A couple small shallow chips on very bottom surface of base; No other damage. Shiny clean with no haze. Original brass threaded collar is excellent with no damage. Solid brass QUEEN ANNE NO.2 burner is in excellent working condition. It turns the wick up and down smoothly. Old glass chimney has the beaded \"Pearl top\"...also perfect with no chips or damage. This wonderful antique original lamp was made by Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. Circa 1881.....It is shown in Thuro - Oil Lamps II, p. 104....I will unscrew the font from the base for safety when shipping. It screws back together very smoothly and snug....
