No 5,2 Gallon Savery & Co Cast Iron Cauldron 3 Legged Pot.No cracks. Piece has been cleaned/seasoned. Ready to use or display! This is shown in both the 1856 and 1866 Savery Catalog\'s, see last pictures for info from the catalogs. This is a manageablesize, like a larger dutch oven... could be used on a stove top or in the oven.See pics for approx dimensions, the largest part of the bulgeis approx 13\" across.There is some heavy pitting on the cooking surface from approx 150 years of use. Inside side walls are smooth. The whole outside has some pitting (not sure how smooth it was originally cast). Has lots of raised markings and a gate mark on the bottom. All of the original feet are still there. One foot is worn down more than the others, so it sits on an angle. These piecesare very hard to find without cracks, holes drilled in the bottom or so much pitting you cant use it. Lots of cleaning on this one to make it usable. Great addition to any collection or awesome conversion piece to cook in!
