Large Antique French Art Nouveau Bronze Green Onyx HolyWater Font Virgin Mary c1890. The base is green onyx, mounted on a havy bronze plate. The beautifully patinated relief center plaquedepicts the Virgin Mary surrounded with ribbons, leaves and flowers. It it is signed byRuffonyunder the „M“ of the word „Virginum“ - please view pictures: Ruffony was a well known sculptor who worked in Franceduring the late 1800’s and very early 1900’s.
