**RARE** Sam Olympic Eagle Original Drawing BOB MOORE Signed (Walt Disney 1984) For Sale

**VERY RARE** Sam the Olympic Eagle was the mascot of the 1984 Summer Olympics which were held in Los Angeles. He is a bald eagle patterned after Uncle Sam, designed by legendary Walt Disney artist, Bob Moore (1920 - 2001).
Offered is an ORIGINAL DRAWING of Sam by Bob Moore. The size of the original drawing is 16\" x 13\", with the 7.75\" x 6\" full-figurer character featuring a Steeplechase Sport pose is rendered in marker on board and HAND SIGNED by Bob Moore below his drawing. This one-of-a-kind drawing was obtained at a fundraising event on 1/21/84, seven months before the Opening Ceremonies. This is a remarkable piece of Olympic mascot history by one of Disney\'s legendary artists.
This ~40 year old rendering exhibits some surface wear/toning and also minor paper curling on verso. Condition is EX overall. See photos to assess condition. Displays well.
