It is in really lovely condition and has been exceptionally well taken care of over the years. The enamel artwork is in brilliant condition without any chipping. I am a woodworker myself and consider myself fairly proficient at it, but every time I look at Klitgaard\'s work I am simply in awe. The craftmanship is insane. Back then Denmark had a number of incredibly talented woodworkers doing high end well designedinteriors. Klitgaard is like Wegner except for working in a much smaller scale and every piece being unique of course. Just check out theintegratedwoodenhinges! I pondered for ages about those hinges and simply have no idea how he did it so incredibly flawlessly and elegant. The wood picking for this particular piece is just overly gorgeous - he must have had some special sources for Brazilian rosewood and knew exactly what to look for. The enamel art work is one of the smaller ones but very cute and nice. As a site note Bodil Eje\'s son (Thomas Eje) is one of the most succesful Danish comedians through the last 30 years (incredibly talented at his craft like his mom). It would make for a lovely gift for a special woman or man (or for number one -yourself:).

It might cost like a Wegner chair but size isn\'t everything.
