The Last Small KugelSeveral years ago I was able to obtain a large lot of vintage and antique Christmas items at a local sale house here in the heart of Virginia. In the bottom of one of the boxes I found a wooden box covered in Alpine style printed paper. The box was full of Victorian era Christmas ornaments that had been made in Germany. In the bottom of the box were several various shaped and colored Christmas ornaments made of glass. I have long ago sold all the other ornaments, but had no idea what these heavier than normal decorations were. I recently took the time to research these ornaments and discovered they are Kugels and were made in Germany.
