An incredible set of thirteen unusual vintage medical books\" \"A Stereoscopic Atlas of Human Anatomy\" byDavid L. Bassett, MDThese unique spiral bound books were published in 1965 by Sawyer\'s Inc., Portland Oregon. The first page of each book is a folio containing stereoscopic view-master slides that correspond with medical images in the book. There are no missing slide wheels in any of the books! All 123 reels are included and there are approximately 14 images per reel (so thousands of stereoscopic images!). Also included in the sale is a vintage view-master viewer, so the slides are ready to be viewed out of the box!
All books show clean, bright white pages with the occasional discoloration on edges from age. Some of the lettering has faded on the plastic spines of select books (please see pictures). All slide wells are in excellent condition, and most of them look untouched.
