An estate find for the serious collector. I recently purchased an estate lot of late 19th and early 20th century ashtrays. This is one of the rarer pieces. This Brass 1916 Mercury Dime dish was likely an ashtray, but a mint, pin, or coin tray would have been alternate uses. It is unsigned, but a substantial cast Brass Tray with a heavy feel.
Approximately 5 3/4\" in diameter, this weighs a hefty 1lb. 9.3ozs. (716 gms).
I have not cleaned this piece in any way, so the photos show exactly the tarnish and oxidative character of this pristine beauty!! It could easily be polished to a great shine!
There are NO significant chips, cracks, scratches, nor dents by my eye, other than age wear & manufacturing mold bites. There is NO evidence of weld, nor repair.
Please do view my photos. This piece will ship to continental US ONLY, well packed via USPS PRIORITY MAIL. It will be fully insured at my expense for our protection.
Any question or additional photo request will ALWAYS be welcomed on my higher end pieces!! I am a collector, I get it!! I want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase from me. 100% satisfaction ratings here on since 1999 means something to me & I hope to you.
Shipping to continental US only. Other US states, and territories welcome at additional cost, just ask!! No International shipping at all !!! (no exceptions, don\'t ask/don\'t offer, please) PayPal only. Immediate payment preferred, payment within 3 days appreciated, payment after 7 days is considered unpaid (-:)
