World War One Manual of Map Reading.
 
Description:
Military Books - “a manual issued by command of the Army Council for the guidance of all concerned” , War Office, 1914. The Manual of Map Reading and Field Sketching. General Staff - War Office, London. First printed 1912 - reprinted with additions 1914 (at the outbreak of WW1). Hard Cloth cover, 101 pages with plates and pull outs, training maps England and Europe. Condition Basically very sound, some dog-ears to cover corners, some pencil writing in rear lists of books available, and on inside front cover - none in book itself. Book measures 18 cm by 13 cm and 1.3 cm thick (7 inches by 5 inches and 1/2 inch thick).
