A wonderful vintage Hall teapot in the Hollywood shape has a squared body and matching squared handle and lid with a flared base. The color is known as Lettuce and it is highlighted with white at the rim and spout and around the edge of the lid. This teapot has two fleabites in the lid where it contacts the body of the teapot, and a chip that is less than 1/32" deep on the back side of the base. None of these defects are noticeable to the casual observer, nor do they detract from the overall beauty of this piece. They are mentioned here in the interest of complete accuracy. This is an excellent example of American art pottery and would be a great addition to your collection.
