In her own words the artist gives you a brief description of this fabulous piece: I had just picked some of our tomatoes. It was a warm Summer evening, and the sun was low in the sky. After putting the tomatoes in a glass pie plate, I went in the house and got some green grapes I had bought earlier that day, went into the garden and picked some small white zinnias and made a still life arrangement. Next, I placed the plate on an ancient yellow lawn chair with its back to the setting sun and took some photographs. I had a great time painting this still life. It was accepted into several juried art shows and is now available for purchase. This painting is matted in off-white in an antiqued gold wood frame with gold beading and is under Plexi-Glass.
