View Larger Image   Ivory Cotton / Thread Holder Barrels Cantonese A Pair   Description: Deep relief carving with Butterflies and Cranes in high relief. The lids have flower carvings. They are almost identical with some minute differences. Thread was wound around the spool inside and through the hole on the side. Lovely pair in excellent working condition with all parts present. The measure 1 3/8" high and are 3/8" across. Little nicks or nibbles here and there but this is not noticeable unless under magnification. It is pictured so these show up but they are very hard to see with the naked eye.
