View Larger Image   Art Glass Vase Large Basket Shaped Superb Design   Description: Superb Basket shaped vase with luminescent colors ranging from a soft Lavender to Raspberry. Very unique hand painting with Deep Cranberry & Gold serpentine lines. There are flowers in white with green centers. It is painted with the front section, the back and sides of the upper interior for display. When viewed from the back the base is the only area painted yet the soft glow and transparency of the glass allows a muted version of the painting to be seen. The Vase radiates a very light Raspberry color at the base to a stunning shade of Lavender that when viewed gives in different lighting appears to be a soft sheen of pearl and pink. There are small cut out handles at the top. This piece was hand blown and the handles were pulled to form their shape. It has a very smooth, polished pontil. The Basket Vase is large being 10" high by 10" wide.
