The engraving is entitled :An Exact Representation of a Dance in Otaheite. The artist and engraver are Webber and Hawkins. At the top of the engraving is is the publisher's credit: London: Published by Alex. Hogg at the Kings Arms, No.16 Paternoster Row. This would have been from the visit to Otaheite by Captain Wallis.
Mounted loose on protective card. Plate area measures 34.5cm wide by 22cm high. (13.1/2 inches wide x 8.3/4 inches high). In very good condition.
