This Johnson Brothers gravy boat and underplate is from the Friendly Village collection, which was first produced in 1953. The gravy boat has a scene called The Apple Orchard on the front and back. The underplate, which doubles as a relish dish, shows The Well. Both pieces have a scroll of leaves and flowers around the edges. The plate measures 5.5" by 8" and the gravy boat is 3.75" wide, 8" long and 2.25" deep. Unusual to find both pieces together and in such excellent condition.
