View Larger Image   Laundry Plunger, Stomper,   Description: This is a vintage laundry ,clothes, plunger, stomper. It stands 35.5 in. tall to the top of the wood handle. The nickel plated brass base is 6.25 in. in diameter. It is spring loaded and has an adjustable side handle. The patent date on the bottom reads Dec. 30, 1879 - July, 26, 1891. This would have been from the very early 20th. century. The base could use a bit more of a polish, but is in very good condition for this primitive washing, laundry tool.
